Career: debut in Piraeus aged seven; numerous concerts in Europe from
1980; solo piano recital aged 11, to audience of 4,000 at Herodes Atticus
Theatre of Athens 1981; first US appearance
aged 12, with Nat. Symphony Orchestra of Washington,
Carnegie Hall, New York 1982; appeared at Prague Spring Festival with Sir
Charles Mackeras and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra playing Beethoven’s
Piano Concerto No. 4 1986; played 12 different piano concertos over six nights
with Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Sgouros Festival, Singapore 1990; has played
in all the major cities and concert houses and on all the major radio and TV stations worldwide; repertoire of 45 piano concertos
and large number of solo piano and chamber music works; took part in cultural
events at Los Angeles Olympics 1984, Athens Olympics 2004, Beijing Olympics
2008; opening recital, Newport Music Festival, RI
2011; European tours with Budapest Festival Orchestra 2013, 2015–16
