Career: joined Tbilisi (now Georgian) State Opera as soloist 1963; has toured Germany, Poland, former Czechoslovakia and other countries; roles have included Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, Liza in Queen of Spades, Aida, Leonora in Il Trovatore, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Ortrud in Lohengrin, Salome, Desdemona in Otello, Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana, Eteri in Paliashvilì’s Absalom and Eteri; Professor V. Saradjishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire 1985–; vocal consultant at Georgian State Opera 1999–; member Artistic Council 2001–; Fellow, Georgian Acad. of Humanitarian Sciences
