NARDIN Terry PhD

Career: Terry Nardin is Professor and Head of the Department of Political
Science at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He joined the Department
in July 2006 and also serves as Academic Convener of the International Studies
Programme. Before coming to NUS he was Distinguished Professor of Political
Science at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He has been a Rockefeller
Foundation Humanities Fellow and a Visitor in the School of Social Science
at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. Professor Nardin’s
research interests include political theory and international relations, theories
of international ethics, international law, the morality of war, global justice,
and the idea of a global public realm. He is also interested in comparative
ethics and political thought and finds Singapore a great place to pursue that
interest. Terry Nardin is Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of Political
Science (see url below).
