Career: Saleha Mahmood Abedin is Director of the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs in London. She is also Chairperson of the International Islamic Committee for Woman and Child, in Amman, Jordan, Professor of Sociology at King Abdulaziz University Women's College, Jeddah, and the Founder of Dar Al-Hekma College, Jeddah. Saleha Mahmood Abedin is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs (see url below).


Publications include: International Committee for the Peace Council: 2001 2002, Women in Islam: A Discourse in Rights and Obligations (editor) 2002, SAIV – The Spiritual Alliance to Stop Intimate Violence 2004, The Global Peace Initiative of Women 2007; numerous articles in professional journals
