Career: Regina Karp is Associate Professor of International Studies and
Director of the Center for Regional and Global Study at Old Dominion University,
Norfolk, Virginia. She is a specialist in the topics of arms control, weapons
proliferation, and international security. Recently, she has been working
on the issue of security integration in the Baltic Sea region with special
concentration on Sweden and Finland. Her project is sponsored by the Baltic
Sea Foundation. Regina Karp is co-editor with her husband Aaron Karp of the
journal Contemporary Security Policy (see url below).
Publications include: several books and numerous articles on the issues of the Strategic Defence Initiative (SDI) and European security and defence procurement of the former Federal Republic of Germany
