Career: Warren Chin is a Senior Lecturer in the Defence Studies Department
at King‘s College London. From 1995 until 1999 he was Senior Lecturer
in the War Studies Department at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and
from 1992 until 1995 he taught Politics and International Politics at London
Guildhall University. His PhD examined the reform of the British Weapons Acquisition
Process in the 1980s and was entitled: ‘Evaluating the Viability of
Competition and Risk Contracts in the Management and Control of Major Equipment
Projects’. He is co-editor of the journal Defence Studies (see url below).
Publications include: numerous articles in professional journals on military history (land warfare), military doctrine, peace support operations and failed states, defence economics (procurement policy and the defence industrial base), revolution in military affairs, future war
