Education: undergraduate studies at the University of the Philippines; postgraduate studies at the University of Stockholm and Uppsala University, Sweden


Career: Peter Limqueco is Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Contemporary Asia (see url below). He was the personal representative of Bertrand Russell and organizer of the Bertrand Russell Tribunal on Viet Nam, Laos and Cambodia in Stockholm in 1968 and Copenhagen in 1969. He was a Research Fellow at the Arbetslivscentrum, Stockholm from 1983–86. Peter Limqueco was Senior Editor of the regional daily newspaper Asia Times (published simultaneously in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York) from 1995–97.


Films include: documentary films on the Philippines, Thailand, Viet Nam and Laos for Swedish Television 1969–70, first western TV film crew allowed into the 17th parallel, separating North and South Viet Nam and liberated zone of Laos, documentary films on Viet Nam post-1975 for Swedish Television (all films broadcast on all major European TV stations).
